MPA Master of Public Administration Fields of Specialization/ Child / Family Policy Area Studies Africa Graduate Program Overview The Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington (UW) is a graduate professional school providing education and research for public service. The School confers the Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and a PhD degree in public policy and management. The Evans School's program of study prepares highly skilled managers and policy analysts for a wide range of careers in the public and nonprofit sectors. Joint degree programs in international studies, law, forest resources, urban planning, and public health are available. Program options include a Peace Corps Master's International (PCMI) in international nongovernmental organization development and, for traditional second-year students, a certificate in international development policy and management. Admissions Deadline January 15th –MPA Program/Peace Corps Master’s International Admissions Overview The Evans School is committed to a diverse student body and actively seeks applicants from all groups and all academic backgrounds. Students are admitted for summer or fall quarters only. Applicants for the MPA/PCMI program are required to submit scores from the GRE General Test, three letters of recommendation, transcripts, resumes, and a personal statement.
