For 43 years, PPIA has been committed to creating a future of increasingly diverse public leadership through the PPIA Fellowship and a robust collection of education and professional development programs.

PPIA believes that our society is best served by public managers, policy makers, and community leaders who represent diverse backgrounds and perspectives. To achieve this goal, PPIA has a focus to provide greater access and opportunities to students, from historically underrepresented backgrounds, seeking to lead in government, nonprofits, international organizations and other institutional settings.
