Portland State University’s Mark O. Hatfield School of Government is one of the leading schools of public administration and policy in the country. It comprises the Departments of Public Administration and Politics and Global Affairs and is home to three centers: the Center for Public Service, the National Policy Consensus Center, and the Mark O. Hatfield Center for Cybersecurity and Cyber Defense. Our academic programs in Political Science, Public Policy, and our nationally ranked Public Administration programs—along with the practitioner-focused initiatives of our centers—prepare students to improve the way we govern and lead.
